Loki, god of mischief, is getting ready to invade New York. There's only one thing standing in his way: the formation of the Avengers. That's when he realizes, what better way to prepare for a battle with the Earths Mightiest Heros, than to take one, and use them to derive the plans and weaknesses of the rest of the Avengers?
Meet Nova, a twenty-three-year-old woman who was recruited to join the Avengers. She also happens to be the one Loki takes in the dead of night.
Nova would never betray her fellow Avengers by working with their current enemy.
As they get to know each other, Nova finds that perhaps it wasn't Loki's fault for her abduction. Reluctantly, they navigate a world of deception, attending extravagant balls where they must pretend to be in love, late-night training sessions that fuel the flames of their forbidden connection, and the fear of someone who could tear them apart and Asgard to the ground loom over them.
Loki would never abandon the promise of a throne, and Nova is rule-abiding. Still, amidst their high-stakes charade, they can't help but feel the magnetic pull between them, drawing them deeper into a dangerous dance of secrets and desires.
