"Okay, Frank, you have to listen to me baby, this is important," Gerard's voice was shaking. "You need to go into the bedroom closet okay? Take Buddy, and don't leave the flat, okay? Frank felt his heart start racing, looking at Buddy, staring up at him from his spot on the floor beside the sofa. "Gerard, you're scaring me..." "JUST DO IT FRANK!" Frank startled a little. Gerard had NEVER raised his voice to him like that.

I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! That's mine, the string must've broken loose." I heard a voice. I saw feet at first. Yellow converse shoes. Then I saw pants. Black jeans. Then I saw a jacket. Gerard Way never expected for his years in college to pass so slowly. He almost craved for something to happen to make the experience more exciting, but that event would likely never come. Or so, that's what Gerard thought. Stumbling across a messy poetic letter that was most likely dropped definitely made things more interesting. It wasn't as much the context of the letter, but more so where the letter was found that peaked Gerard's interests. "Why would anyone leave a note in a storage closet?" He thought to himself. Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him.
