"Hey, hey, what'd my locker ever do to you to make you want to beat it up so badly?" I jumped at the sound of a raspy voice coming from right beside me. A heavy sigh followed my actions, and I could feel my face beginning to heat up as I faced the person who had witnessed my unfortunate interaction with the locker.

Katerina Ferron, preferably known as Katherine, had never spoken to her dangerously attractive locker neighbor, Alex Westbrook. She was always too caught up in her problems to pay any mind to the ruggedly good looking boy who also had struggles of his own.
However, one small interaction, some of Alex's quick witted remarks, and a few lucky twists of fate make the two realize that they have much more in common than they think - far more than just their tendency to curse like sailors.
Katherine wants to break through Alex's guarded exterior, but it comes at the risk of her heart.
A risk she's not sure she's ready to take.
And Alex certainly doesn't make anything easy on her.

Enraged by Jayce's infuriating words I couldn't hold back from using all my strength to shove against his chest, not that it was very affective . . . Either way I blacked out, being brought back a few short moments later when my back was brutally slammed into the metal lockers behind me. His glowering figure towering over me as he aggressively braced my shoulders against the lockers, an ominous glint in his darkening blue eyes as he glared down at me . . . As noticed, Kat and Jayce aren't the best of friends . . . Rather the opposite. They have never really been able to get along. Arguing with each other was part of their everyday lives, they didn't know how to interact any other way, this becomes a problem when their History teacher assigns a two week long project with them being partners. I have gotten better so if you'd like than check out my other stories :) Sophia is the girl every guy wants. Well, she's not like most girls. She is the bad chick of the school. People try to get to her, especially the boys because all the girls are too scared. The whole school all has a little tension towards her. She has never had to deal with anyone standing in her way or even having their locker next to hers until he showed up. Hunter is the bad boy. He is known for his Rabelais ways and cocky attitude in his old school. So it'd no shocker that when be moved to her school he gets in her way and his locker is right next to hers. They get eachother to fall in love with eachother only to break their hurts. Or so they thought...They both have awful past and reasons for acting they wat they do especially in public. They bond over things they never really talk about and become closer than they thought. With their sweet moments and even their bickering in the highschool life, it's hard when he has to leave for collage when he still loves the bad Chick.Complete

We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints.
