Through Thick and Thin (Number Five)

On October 1st, 1989, 43 women gave birth at 12:00 in the evening. This was odd as none of these women were pregnant when the day first began. Billionaire, Reginald Hargreeves, went out to adopt all of them. He got eight.

My name is Paisley Hargreeves. I am one of the children. I grew up in the Umbrella Academy only given a number as my name. Number 8, that was name for 6 years until our mom, Grace, gave us actual names.

Everyone in the academy has powers except Vanya. We don't know why, but Father never let her train with us because of it. Luther has super strength, Diego can throw knives, Allison can convince anyone whatever she wants, Klaus can contact the dead, Five can special jump, Ben can become a different creature with tentacles(I'm not really sure what it is), and I have super speed.

Five and I were thick as thieves as kids. We were always there for each other and we were best friends for as long as I can remember. When five ran off after father told him he couldn't time travel, I ran after him. Since I have super speed I caught up to him just as he went through time. We were stuck in the apocalypse together.
