Celsa is an orphaned vengeful queen who rules her kingdom with an iron fist getting revenge on her families murders. After her countries civil war, she must make good on promises she made to win. When a demon demands Celsa pay back her debts, the young queen starts to realize she is part of a plot much bigger than she thought.

Nix is a half-demon half-human hybrid, which causes her to have shapeshifting abilities. She's a child born out of wedlock who's been trained as a mercenary since her mother's husband discovered she wasn't his. Nix has one last job before she can secure her freedom as well as her younger sisters'. She must kill the queen.
