Basically Lena Hunt’s life fell apart a week into her Junior year. Her best friend since the diaper days, Blakely, turned out to be a popularity infested chameleon whom no longer wants anything to do with her; and first period hadn’t even started. Depressed, pissed and seeking the ultimate revenge against the hoe who called her a ‘loser’ Lena does something everyone at Draper Valley considers absolutely nuts. She makes friends with the most coveted, badass group of kids in school. They drink too much, party too hard, smoke more than engines and the boys are devilish but there is something charming and luring about them that keeps Lena around. Lena learns more about them and herself then should would have ever thought possible; and she begins to learn of the grayness of the world. But Lena also learns their lives are totally parallel to the life she use to live and she wonders if leaving everything behind for the chance of winning revenge was worth burning all her old bridges. As Lena’s life spirals in and out of control she’ll learn Junior year is mostly stupid, mostly dangerous, mostly heartbreaking and most importantly; Mostly complicated. ☯I would like to thank a wonderful wattpader who made this gorgeous cover; her name is at @lunah-quin. much love☯

In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.
