His father and mother both carried the recessive white gene even though they are tawny. As he is cast out Spiros' father instructs his son to find his pride although that has never been his priority. Being a gay lion shifter means he wants a mate and not a pride. In a pride, one or more fully mature males covet a harem of females and defend the pride land from nomadic males trying to ensure their offspring reach maturity before they are dethroned after their prime comes to an end. Most male lion shifters can hold onto territory for nearly 25 years. The females of the species stay in the same land they were born and as long as all their cubs are grown and able to flee or defend themselves they accept new males without much of a fight. Lion shifters live much like their wild cousins. Other cat shifters are a bit different with only wanting one mate as they are mostly solitary creatures save for their mate and cubs. After leaving his pride Spiros settles in his own territory without a pride and hopes that he will stumble upon who he would choose to be his mate. As his instincts guided him to the territory in which he settled. But maybe he does want a pride, but he wants it different from other lions.

Darius needed her as mate but how can he accept someone in his late mates place? Excerpt: I stripped as I prepared for my run. Being a shifter I loved to run, even if this wasn't a normal run. It was a Mating Run. Our Shaman would do a ritual, say a prayer, and then I'd shift as I went into heat. I would get a one mile head start and then the males who were competing for me to be their mate would shift and run after me. I had a total of twenty miles laid out for me. No one but me and the Shaman knew the route I was taking. They'd be running up and down hills, along a ridge, through a river, through a system of caves and finally an all out mad dash the last three miles. The best, if their was a best, would catch me. Their last task was to convince my pup to submit and let them mount and claim me. If they couldn't and I made it back without being mounted then I was free. A barbaric rite but one that was a fact of our existence everyone who came of age did it. Males were more likely to pass and not get mounted. Females pretty much always got mounted. So I was doomed. Any male of any race was allowed to run. Though few outside the race of the runner tried. Since I was a Were-dog I was expecting mostly them.

Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.

Tidal- Sea fury- mix between, shark (The way she swims) Scauldron and Changewing. as in the acid spit and boiling water, dislike of eels isn't as scared of them like other dragosn they aren't poisonous, cna create Tidal waves this process however is taxing, and takes a while not on the spot tidla waves aren't huge but can be deadly AU- females are dominant mates when it comes to dragons like most things in the animal world. yes I know ki g of dragosn and what not but I like the hyena monarchy anyway, often scolds her little dragon killing/eating bf. Starlight(real ones know where I got this idea)- Skrill electrical charge and stream, highly protective. Eats eels mainly enjoys other foods and loves metals! Doesn't like people who get close to you plus she at one point when you got sad hunted people down. AU- Skrills often bond with some. irn or something could be anything from a sheep to a piece of metal they like. change of pov's often first person (I, we,) Y/N the daredevil this is explained in the story!

After expanding her territory, a female would be considered nobility. The stronger their champions, the better their resources and territory. Larger area's typically had one queen female and her court made up of nobility. Every double full moon, they would fight for the honor to have their female enter the queen's court. At the end of the queen's reign, she could choose a new queen from her court. In the midst of all this, Bree discovered her own magic power, 'Otome Gamer.' While Bree is trying to fulfill her quests, and an ultimate goal that would change everything, a frightening darkness is spreading, and shifters start to disappear.
