Incubator-Jones's writing creates an alternative past, a prequel so to speak, to the well known Judaic based Genesis myth. But, that doesn't do it justice. Because as you read each subsequent chapter, you feel like you're falling down a philosophical worm hole that is so unique in the" typical" Tolkien based Fantasy genre that has dominated the market for years.
It's refreshing to me as a reader, because Incubator-Jones makes you re-think plausibilities in his heretical un-cannon like approach to his subject. But, what really drives this book is the fact that so many of the main characters are so compelling, and most importantly, relatable.
In the epic conclusion to the Devil's Deal series, Freya has one final chance to discover the full potential of her own power, and to use it to restore balance in the universe - once and for all. After the destruction caused by Roisin, Ferya and Torix come to terms with their losses and mistakes... And prepare for a final battle that will change everything.
