Alfred and Matthew live in an abusive household. One day when running home, Matthew bumped into Officer Kirkland. Secretly, he follows him home and sees what really happens in their home. However, what occurs there ends the boys in the hospital where Francis, Officer Kirkland's husband, works. Knowing the right decision, they bring Matthew and Alfred into their family.
