Kingdom Hearts 1 (Female Sora AU)
The events of the Kingdom Hearts Saga if Sora and Kairi had been born the opposite gender. Soraya is an average tomboyish girl living on the Destiny Islands with her two best friends. Riku, who had been her closest friend her whole life (so close that they were practically siblings), and Kai, a sweet and creative boy who she had a slight crush on. One day, when Soraya was fourteen, her life changed forever when darkness invaded her home, and only she had the power to combat it. Little did she know that she was the prophesied Child of Destiny. ***I've loved Kingdom Hearts for years. I have all three main games. I've seen a couple genderbend fanfictions about it before, which were really good, but I thought I could elaborate more. Only Sora and Kairi are genderbent in this fanfiction. I do realize that Sora is a Japanese unisex name, but I associate it too much with a boy character to use it. Soraya is a Persian name that means "star cluster," which I feel fits perfectly, and Kai is a unisex name that means "sea" in Hawaiian, which also works well. There will be no POVs in this fanfiction. Kingdom Hearts is the property of Square Enix and Disney. Found inspiration for Kai's design on Google Images. (Copywrite is the last thing I want). I only own the genderbent versions of Sora and Kairi. So please enjoy my first entry in my genderbent Kingdom Hearts Saga. Also, I may include some more detailed information about some characters. Spoiler alert to all those who are not as savvy about the subject. His own former Commander Major Deak Deakins have stolen two nuclear bombs, and is using them to get money. If he doesn't get it, he'll make the world a whole quiet for many years. This is a story about a group of junior heroes Sora, Kalani, Donald, and Goofy. Sora and Kalani are both Keyblade wielders. Sora returned home to his beloved girlfriend at the Destiny Islands, Mickey went back to Disney Castle, Donald returned to his family & Goofy went back to his son. 10 years later, The Magic Kingdoms decided to United so they can share resources, and citizens from every kingdom can interact with each other. As for Sora's Key Blade, Mickey decides to put it in the Disney Museum so everyone can see it as a reminder of the one that saved them all. The peace, however, didn't last for long and there were signs of the Heartless throughout all the kingdoms. With Tensions rising and Sora who is in his late 20s, Micky decides to have a meeting between the rulers of every kingdom to come up with a new solution. Thus the Guardians were born. Follow the story of a young boy and his friends as they journey through the land of Disney as they take on the Heartless, New & Old Villains, meeting old heroes, and restoring peace as the first generation of Guardians.
