Finally he's home. The road back is a long hard one, many trials lay in front of him, but he is willing to risk all if only he could hold his wife in his arms one last time. The King demands that he return to the castle, Barrek unknowing of what the king wants goes willingly. For days he is questioned and accused of giving crown secrets away. Finally they decide he would be more fun to hunt. Not giving the answers that they wished for he is to be taken to the hunters forest. Not willing to lose his family again Barrek fights his way free. Quickly he makes his way home, he only can think of escaping with his family somewhere safe. As Barrek and his family rush to the border between Frandle and Glendore the King's men find them. The battle is not long, Barrek's wife killed, his son taken away, and he himself tossed into the Hunter's Forest where he must fight to live so that he can save his son. Raven the leader of the band of outlaws also trapped in the forest finds him and brings him to the cave of Exscale where he helps him heal and begs for help to reclaim their land. Captured, alone in a cell, the king done with him decides that he will be beheaded at dawn, he has failed his son, failed to avenge the death of his wife, with nothing left all he has is failure. To his surprise the King's daughter helps him to escape with the promise of help if only he would kill her father and place her on the throne, The king sent a message to Barrek begging him to stop this for the sake of the people, he offers to give him his position back and all the money he could ever want. As if money could atone for the sins which the king had committed. Two armies clash, swords and blood fly as the battle ensues. Can Barrek defeat the king and avenge his loved ones? King Reginald fights for the power he craves and the death of the man who helped kill his son.
