She's gone. She's gone and she's not coming back. I blamed him, but really it was just my stupidity. Either way, she's gone forever.
Somehow, another tear manages to slip out of my eye and down my cheek. How do I even have tears left to cry? How can I let myself cry when it was my fault? Why am I allowed to still be here when she's gone? Her innocence was so pure and now she will never see the light of day again.
I take another sip of the alcohol in my hand. This is ok. This numb feeling. I'll take it because it's all I have. I close my eyes and let the darkness consume me
