I scoff and stand up, ready to make my exit. If they thought that I would abandon my pack and come back, they were dead wrong. I couldn't care less what happened to this pathetic excuse for a pack.
"If that's all you needed, I will be taking my leave. I don't have time for pointless apologies and all this other shit. If it's not pack related, don't bother making an appointment to see me. I want nothing to do with Alpha Porter, or the Mountain Rain pack. I'm a busy Alpha, and you pulled me from my schedule for nothing", I said, my voice full of venom.

I feel my Beta's amusement through our bond, and I sneak a glance at him, barely holding back a laugh. I know he found this extremely pathetic. Either that or he was joking about what happened earlier with his mate, Maria.
"Brandon, let's go", I tell him, and he pushes himself off the wall.
