This is an ekphrasis poem in which I was inspired by Rachael Allen's 4chan poems--particularly, "Animu&Mango /a/" in which Allen narrates the pictures posted on the 4chan website from the anime LoveHina!
I am in no way up to date on the Manga. The last chapter I read was in the 90's, so I am way behind. Please keep in mind I am writing off of my knowledge from what occurred in those chapters.
*The lines, "Leave,/run away from me now/i don't know what i've become/but i know that anywhere is safer than here" is from Warsan-Shire's poem "Home".

Following the events of the parade at Equestria Land/World, Rainbow Dash begins to struggle containing her feelings for a certain shy friend of hers, more so than she has beforehand. Fluttershy is becoming suspicious of her friend Rarity, as her and Applejack have been sharing a lot of tension amongst themselves. Sunset Shimmer discovers something surprising about Rainbow Dash as she is also caught in a passive love triangle. Meanwhile, Timber Spruce is becoming suspicious as Camp Everfree is over washed by an evil presence of equestrian magic that only the seven friends can stop. Prepare to embark on a journey with the seven friends as they save Camp Everfree once more and discover new things about each other and even themselves. (106,200 words, 24 Chapters.) This story inspo came to me while making tacos for dinner. I'm not even joking. Alice I'm the last daughter of the Queen of Hearts. Fifth in line for a throne to a kingdom fallen to war and ruination at the hands of my own flesh and blood. Magic is failing us and our mages are at a loss on how to fix it. Their solution? Steal it. From another realm. One with just as many wild dangers as our own, but with one major problem in the way. Peter Panjara. The enemy's king. If the legends of Neverland are true, even looking upon his scarred and evil face will cast your soul into the Beyond. Doomed to wander with no purpose for eternity. But I'm not scared of some old dribble from the mouths of simpletons. I'm a monster in my own right. And I've never feared any demon but the one in the mirror. Peter My realm was at peace for 400 years. My subjects drank and laughed under the stars, never fearing the tomorrows on the horizon. Magic permeated through our shores and undulated in the currents of our seas. Until that blood-bathed witch attacked. My people were captured, turned to slaves and I had to flee my own damn castle. I will not rest until that queen's head is on my front gate. I will not pass into the Beyond until my kingdom is cleansed from Wonderland's filth. And I've found the perfect little rabbit to help me.
