READ BEFORE READING:
I had been writing this off the seat of my pants, but finally decided to sit down and put together an actual plot. This includes rewriting what I already have, and changing many major plot points that I had already been integrating into this story. Feel free to read this, but just know that I will not be continuing this book. You can read the new version which I have started on my page, named Pariah.

-----------------------------

In a world where magic is common knowledge and regulated by law, three girls are chosen to assist with a secret branch of law enforcement known as The Guild. Follow the stories of Mira, Hailey, and Ella as they are sent on a hunt to thwart a new group of mages who want nothing more than to overturn the succession of modern society.

The Licensed Mage by SarahKlein367

Dive into a world full of magic and modernization. It's 2218 and magic has been a part of the world since the 5th century. With the rise of government and regulation, Magic Laws have been placed in effect to appease the people of the world. Every mage must have a license to use their magic outside of their homes but there are those who follow the dangerous path instead. Follow our resident mage (a magical person) Claire Dunsworth who becomes a NYC Mage Detective and her new partner the rugged Detective Raven Black as they investigate crimes of a magical nature. Claire is a mage with exceptional magical talent if not too exceptional for the higher ups within the Guild that monitors all mages of the world. She is an orphan and grew up in a Home for Magical Children on Mage Island, floating in the middle of the Pacific. Under constant watch and scrutiny from the Guild, Claire now finds herself working side by side with a Black, the very family that was breed to become mage assassins, killing thousands of her people. The fact that the Black is also a handsome man does not help Claire's case at all. Raven has nothing to do with his family and yet is hostile to Claire upon finding out she's a mage. He worked as a detective to make sure everyone had equal justice but when he got his new partner Claire his world is thrown upside down. Not only is she a mage whom he silently despises but she's also the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. As they work together and find a rocky truce between themselves they travel the city solving crimes with a magical association. Raven accepts Claire without cause while Claire lays her life down for the man who stole her heart. As they fall for one another a dark figure lerks in the shadows, plotting something sinister for our mage Claire. Could this dark figure perhaps have something to do with Claire's unclear past? Can Raven, a Black, somehow save this woman before she's taken from him forever?
Three Mates & A Tribrid by Karma__Winters

I sighed, walking towards him. "Look, big man. I know who you are and I'm really sorry for what I'm about to do." I said before leaning in and kissing him. I could feel the sparks from our contact and heat pool in my belly. But before he could pull me in for a second one, I pulled back. "Why would you be sorry about that?" He asked, looking at me affectionately. He pushed the hair our of my face as he smiled. "That's not what I'm sorry for," I whispered before snapping his neck. This is too fucking easy, I thought before smelling two heavenly different smells. What the actual fuck? I turned slightly and locked eyes with two guys across the parking lot. I have three fucking mates?! Of course, my life can't be easy. -------------------------------------------------------- Rose Maxwell is your typical young, flirty, confident 21-year-old. With only one exception...she's a tribrid. Tribrid being a werewolf, vampire, and witch in one. It sounds cool, right? Only one problem...she shouldn't exist. Now with only herself to count on, Rose must learn the hard way to never trust anyone with her secret. But what happens when fate brings three mates into Rose's life? Everett Dixon, the sexy werewolf; Atticus Caldwell, the mysterious warlock; and Axel Hale, the brooding vampire. Will she learn to trust again? Or will she let the fear of being discovered threaten the bonds she has with her mates? Warning: This book is rated mature and will have mature-themed content. This includes sex, strong language, violence, drug/alcohol use, and mentions of sexual assault #1 in Magic #1 in Reverseharem #1 in Paranormal #1 in Supernatural #1 in Witch #1 in Vampire #1 in Badass #1 in Murder
The Five Cursed Witches: Volume 4 - Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
78 parts Ongoing Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (ongoing) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

Ever since her dad mysteriously abandoned her family, life on the Clifton Estate hasn't been all that exciting for 16-year-old Marla True. Her Mum constantly works to make ends meet, which means Marla has to put up with gossipy old Bev keeping an eye on her and noisy little half-sister Ribbon. If that wasn't bad enough, her exam results are in... and they aren't good. But at least she has her friends. Asher, the responsible and strong boy who has known her all her life and Ed, the orphaned rebel who loves to stir up trouble. Then there's her, Marla, stubborn, fiery and just plain lost. Life on the estate is same-old same-old, until the senile World War Two veteran, Mr. Pelham, starts freaking Marla out with his staring and rambling, cryptic messages. Is he trying to warn her? Or hurt her? When the bored trio decide to teach the creepy old man it's rude to scare young girls, they learn far too late just how crucial it is to respect your elders. For his daughter, Bridget, has a power unlike anything they've ever seen before and she uses her deadly craft to send them to a place that will teach them the lesson of their lifetime. Bridget has sent them back in time, all the way to World War Two, throwing them into a secret fight for the survival of all magical folk in the world. Marla soon learns what it really means to be a True, and the power her absent father has kept from her all her life... Marla, Ed and Asher are thrown into a world they and their generation have no comprehension of, a world where love is a relic of a life left behind and your only duty is sacrificing all that you have. These three friends are about to learn about a side of World War Two that never made the history books. ***I can't take credit for the artwork, it's called A BREAK IN REALITY and it's by the AMAZINGLY talented Xenobyte on deviantart. An Unexpected Moment

42 parts Complete

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
