They share a surname, they share the gotra. So it is expected that they consider each other as brother and sister. But when you meet that brother/sister of yours once a year you don't actually believe you are a family. This story is about what happens when their path interacts, not once but so many times, and the feelings that develop aren't brotherly or sisterly.
