The Bayou Bum

After his actress mother's death Eric Prince moves from Los Angeles to New Orleans with his still-grieving father who's accepted a job as the digital director for a major network. Forced to process his own feelings alone, he finds no solace in any of his new surroundings at his prestigious private school nor his pretentious classmates. Months in, he's made a friend in hip outsider Sheldyn Greeneway, daughter of the mogul that owns the media company Eric's dad now works for.

Shortly after settling into his new home Eric begins having vivid, unsettling dreams featuring the same sad but beautiful girl. Thinking nothing of the dreams, Eric starts sketching the face of the girl he's seeing into his beloved, strictly-guarded notebook. When Sheldyn accidentally stumbles across his sketches she's both impressed by his skill and talent, and shocked that he'd drawn in exquisite detail a student who'd gone missing from their school years before. A girl he'd never met in his life.

Was this missing girl visiting Eric nearly every night because she was trying to tell him something? If so, what? Sheldyn is determined to help him find out.
