I think the most empowering thing about being a girl nowadays is breaking the typical girly stereotypes and having such a strong voice. Usually, it would be the guys going out to do the heavy work, or going to fight. Now, we can do what we want. We aren't just stuck at home cooking or doing the housework, we can join the army if we want or explore the world. In the past decade, our voice has become louder than ever, shaping how the world thinks of us. We're doing things that wouldn't have been possible only 20 years ago. I can't wait for what the future holds, and I'm sure that our empowerment will grow as we continue to break out of our shell and show the world who's boss.

Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." Side story to Sing To My Heart. You don't need to read it first to understand the story but this is the more expanded story of the side love story from Out of This World. I just really liked this idea and I wanted to give it more of a story than just those few musical numbers. The original idea of the show was from @OneArtsyGamer03 Star crossed lovers is a trope as old as time. There are many stories based on this trope with all of them being referred to as a take on Romeo and Juliet. I never understood why this trope was popular or why there were many versions. Royal and Commoner. Human and Non-human. Rival clans. I always wonder why these are so popular. Not to mention they must be so sad if you actually lived through it. Growing up, I was never really allowed to leave my castle so I always read these stories. However I never would have expected to be living on my own. It's almost surreal but I know better. After all, not all stories get a happy ending. And who's to say mine will get one.Complete

I was slowly losing consciousness, but my mind never seemed happier now that I was dying. The white walls with big bright lights did not resemble heaven; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I thought I had died. When I came to, I found myself in this strange place, disoriented and confused. I looked around and found another five pairs of eyes looking at me with the same emotion swirling in their gaze. Now, 15 years later, I train with these girls. Our makers take care of us, feed us, and make sure we are clean, healthy, and fit. Some of us never had that; that's probably why it took so long for us to realize we were being used. The dirty work they made us do, none of us questioned it. How could we when we were taken off the streets? For a chance at normalcy, we settled for anything, even if that meant blurring the lines of right and wrong. After a mission gone haywire, we started noticing, and now we strike back to take our voices and reclaim the power that was used on us as a way to control us. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up.
