The Hamlet

Something about the small fishing town at the end of the valley always felt, well, off. People would often go there to trade for luxury cuisine or to see the strange creatures that would sometimes be caught in the fishing nets of the towns inhabitants, but one day that had stopped. The trade, the stories, the people coming and going, had simply ceased. Many people wondered what had happened to the small town but no one dared venture down there for fear of the unknown.
