Nova Smith thought she was an ordinary teenage girl. Well... except for the fact that she was a
lilla mage with no magical abilities.

That mixed with the fact that her parents were out of the picture and she lived with her workaholic Uncle, Aaron, who needed to move every few months because of his job basically meant that every school she went to had at least 3 people a day at school ridiculed her. That plus the odd glances everyone gave her because of her lack of magic equaled for a interesting experience at school.

When Nova finds out who, or more appropriately what her mom is, where her dad lives, and what that means for her, school gets put on the back burner as she takes the adventure of her life.

Once she finds out who she is, will she ever be the same? Will Nova find out the mysteries and blank spaces in her life, or will she forever be in the dark?

Nova will have to overcome some hard truths, battle for her life, and possibly find love along the way.
