Wrench backstory.
TRIGGER WARNINGS domestic violence, trauma, restraint.
Gets a bit hot and heavy but no actual sex.
Set an unspecified time after 'More Than a Bromance'.
This was written on a bit of a hypomanic bender. If you're not familiar with bipolar, when elevated, some of have a tendency to see a lot of connections between things. I'd argue that I'm smarter when I'm up (doctors always laugh at me when I say that, thinking it's grandiose - but if depression can make you slow and foggy, why not? I certainly think very differently in different phases).
Anywho. There was a lot of stuff I tried to tie in here. Spoiler warning if you don't want to know where my thoughts are at.
Wrench seems to have some hardcore damage, and owns his crazy. Physically, the walk, the bad back, the birthmark/scarring - the artwork around his eye looks like damage. IDK, could be reading too much into that, but I doubt it's because of poorly rendered art, *just* in that one spot.
Next, Wrench is probably most affectionate and protective (or panicky) with Marcus, but there are also signs of a deeper connection with Sitara. Then, somewhere near the end there's a conversation you can have with Sitara in the hackerspace where Marcus says something about not knowing Wrench's real name (ergo, not Reggie). Sitara replies with "I'll never tell", suggesting she knows, so I'm wondering if they have a shared history.
Just my thoughts. I would love nothing more than to see more officially of this crew, Wrench in particular, and I really hope 3 gives us more of them.
Hiatus !! ( but I promise I am coming back ; see the last chapter ) 20.12.2025
Some storms come and go. Raven became one.
Raven Storm has learned to survive in silence. At home, she hides bruises behind bandages and fear behind a blank stare. At school, she's the outcast-judged, hated, blamed for something she couldn't control.
The world turned its back on her. So she did the same.
Then came him.
The boy who won't stop talking.
The one who looks at her like she's worth seeing.
The one who says he understands-but never says why.
Thrown together for a class project, Raven and Adrien are forced into each other's lives. She just wants to stay invisible. He's hiding something beneath every smile.
They were never meant to trust.
Never meant to care.
Definitely never meant to fall.
But fate doesn't ask. And secrets don't stay buried forever.
Because Adrien isn't who he says he is.
And Raven's father isn't just a monster-he's a target.
In a world of lies, violence, and betrayal, the only thing more dangerous than the truth...
...is the way they're starting to feel.
Well, I am shit at writing summaries or something like that so I asked my bestie Chat gbt ; so yeah! Enjoy!
BTW: I going to be completely honest I reread the first few chapters and they may be a little rough to read in terms of grammar and so on but I promise it gets better in the further chapters. I apologize beforehand.
