This poem is my opinion of what the step mothers thoughts are when she gets an invitation to Cinderella's wedding with the Prince... You can put it in the step sisters point of view if you prefer.

Maybe I loved him when I saw him, or when he hugged me after my mothers death. Or maybe I was slowly falling into his arms unknowingly, growing to like him more than I should. The Story Behind the Slipper
We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left. Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella. However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different. This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be. You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters. The Royal Deal
It was supposed to be a marriage. A contract marriage. A simple deal beneficial to two families. But she hated it, she hated objectifying herself for the greed of her father. She hated the feeling of losing from a bunch of strangers who didn't consider her say in her own life. So, she turned the tables. What she didn't know was, he only agreed to a deal thinking she had a say. He didn't want a marriage yet agreed to one for the benefit and name of his family. He wasn't a man to mess with but she took her chance and he let her. And it might be her biggest mistake. Taking her chances with him. He got obsessed with everything about her. Her fragrance. Her voice. Her very presence. She came into his life with all the intentions to leave. Now the question is, would he really let her go? Would she want to stay?

He hates me...He hates me to such an extent that even though i am lawfully his he wouldnt accept me or look at me...because i am the reason he lost the one he loved with whom he wanted to spend his life with, the one he would cherish and shower with his love.
