Rocks crumble of might
Mountains push away from tight
Continents sunder like sand just right
World falls to seed in its plight
Seas part
As clouds thunder hither and dither
Mistakes sink bitter and bitter
A single glance, a single wonder
Balancing words from falling under
A simple task, a simple blunder
Caused the world of falling under
No shining lights, no falling kites
Forests gloomy worthless sights
No more night skies to alight
Ridding, sweeping all this blight
To condense, to cushion light
And rid the world of any sight
So that darkness can be light
That is all there is tonight
