It's the 19th century France. The king is back in his throne and the lives of the common people are worsening with each passing moment. Amidst all of this is Grantaire, a student. He laments about love and drowns himself in alcohol. 
Time passes and soon he sees that the world around him is falling apart. He is miserable at best and seeks solace in the happiness of others. But when a young man name Enjolras enters his life and challenges his outlook, he is left wondering. Over months of a blossoming bond, Grantaire and Enjolras skip many obstacles;not together. They fight there worst battles alone yet somehow they are blended in each others' soul. What will happen when they both find what they are looking for but are faced with life changing decisions.
