Two sorcerers, one of demon blood, one of angel and god blood meets in a world where love between them is forbidden. But that does not stop them. Emersion Darkeast born a Dark One, youngest son to the first Dark One Hadrian, second son and youngest of his children, grows up in his father's fortress in The Dark Lands. When his father tells him he has The Demon Queen Adrienne's blood, mother of the Demon Hunters, he is sent to the Demon Hunters homeland and is there raised by a Demon Hunter family. But when his life falls apart, he is forced to leave.
One day, he meets an unknown beautiful woman who turns out to also have magic and to be one of the four Stars sent by the Gods to help the people of Shivanna against the Dark Ones. When they fall in love, everything changes because of the fact that he is a half Demon and she is a creature of the Gods and the angels, their love is forbidden.
The Star, Charline Maralíel arrives in the middle of The Second Age together with the other Stars, Tarmac, Eldaram and Gideon. Together, they decide to choose each of the Dark Ones to infiltrate. Tarmac chooses Hadrian Darkeast while Gideon and Eldaram goes to infiltrate his son first son, Aldon Darkeast. Charline chooses to infiltrate Hadrian's youngest son, Emersion Darkeast. Little does she know that her choice is going to change her life and the whole history of Shivanna.
