Artea Brushstroke just escaped from her former home. What is this home? Nopony knows. Artea, a mare that was obsessed with The Arts during her almost unbearable times at her old home, has finally escaped. She was finally able to get on the train that took her to her dream town, Ponyville! She also met a friend on the way, Mr. Sandy Shells, the older brother of Rainbow Dash. They became fast friends, and she soon finds out a secret about him. Artea eventually meets the Mane Six, with the story changing into their point of views. Artea; a pony full of opinions, artistic talent, buckets of love waiting to be spilled, and unfortunate mishaps waiting to happen. 
Where was her former home? How did she escape? Is she capable of living in Ponyville? Will she find out what love and friendship really is? And will she finally find out what all the hullabaloo about cupcakes is about?
