17-year-old Lucy Lomantagne is starting her Senior year in Louisville, Mississippi. Her parents are recently divorced and now she lives with her father. She decided to go for her last year of high school for privacy against her nosy mother and her new beau.

With her almost white-blonde hair and those sea-colored eyes, she was unique. Stared at most of her life she wanted something new and better so why not go the extra mile and move from sunny California to rainy Mississippi. The drastic change with the weather was nothing against the change with the people of the small town of six thousand give or take a couple hundred.

Change is what she wanted to change is what she got. Making friends was never her strong suit but she had to try and now that she spotted Valise Melbourne she can't get him out of her head.
