The world has fallen apart after a plague wiped out 99% of the population 20 years ago. The world moved underground as the plague was rumored to be still spreading in the outside world.
In comes Brooklyn. She is 13, and her dream is to have a cat. Follow her as her dream comes true for a short period of time.

A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made. After whole pandemic years full of stress and fear Out of unable to escape Maxi will found a place among the other at the school , will her past return to ruin the one chance he has to leave her life in the shadows "This time she won't trust in something as changeable as love.
