(Y/N) never thought this could happen to her. When she fled the Fire nation she would have never dreamed of this moment where she could be safe and warm again.(Y/N) was forced to leave the Fire nation with soldiers on her tail. From a long journey of traveling and running away (Y/N) finds herself in the Jasmine Dragon (the tea shop) with an old man drinking tea and an angry boy with a huge scar on his face watching her every move. What could this moment lead to and how will (Y/N) react?

Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal? Calm and patient Xia became Zuko's new sparring partner, and Iroh's favorite Pai Sho challenger. "How can you be drinking tea at a time like this?!" Zuko demanded. I looked at him as if surprised by his stupidity, "because I do not particularly like cold tea." A laugh followed my statement and we both turned to Iroh, "you see, Prince Zuko. Xia knows that there are times to march forward, but there are also times to take a step back." "What does that even mean?" Zuko asked furiously. "It means that I take time to think," I replied gently. "Now, why don't we go and continue your quest for the Avatar?" *I update by book. So the first thirteen chapters are book one. Updates are very slow, but over ten chapters at a time.
