For three years they managed to survive on their own, but supplies are becoming scarce and the need of a new society starts to grow in minds. There are still thousands of us out there hiding in plain site. So that's how our country decided to turn against its own, the Variables. That's what they call us. But that's just the main story of us Variables, this one is about me, well. Me and my literal other personality.

People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

Many engage in wars against each other, employing thieves, moles, and hackers to steal their competitor's ideas. To protect it's research, Sarif Industries has recently developed it's own internal security force. Enter Adam Jensen, the newly appointed head of Security of Sarif. (Story edited so it would work as my school project story.)
