Nymphia är en dystopisk science-fiction berättelse om den genetiskt framtagna individen med samma namn. Det brukade vara ett långtidsprojekt som jag drömde om att få publicera genom ett förlag förr men nu bjuder jag på det som är kvar av det. Jag har renskrivit det med gott om ändringar från hur det var förr. Då jag skrev den på ren improv så kommer jag försöka mitt bästa med att planera ut en faktiskt berättelse.

Your party girl side is a cover for how broken underneath you feel. You have your own agency helping to rescue people and gather Intel on possible threats. In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

In the 2020s, many biotechnology companies existed all over the world and were helping to advance mechanical augmentations, making them commonplace in society but was still controversial. One such company, Sarif Industries, which had been founded in 2007 and had quickly grown to become one of the major biotech companies by 2027. By 2027, Multinational biotech corporations specializing in human enhancement are competing for dominance in what has become a controversial field. Many engage in wars against each other, employing thieves, moles, and hackers to steal their competitor's ideas. To protect it's research, Sarif Industries has recently developed it's own internal security force. Enter Adam Jensen, the newly appointed head of Security of Sarif.
