Defamed

"I trust you" He said looking directly in her eyes.
She was shocked............................... after waiting all this time to hear these three words, she couldn't decide whether to be happy that finally someone is believing in her or worried about the mystery that they will discover.She just stood there numb looking down on the floor.
He came infront of her putting his hand under her chin to lift her face up..................Looking directly in her eyes he said "We need to tell the world that you are innocent and catch the real killer"
"It won't change anything, I have accepted this as my fate"She whispered softly.
She looked at him pleading with her eyes to not force her into that mess again.The world is starting to forget it and yet he wants to open that memory again.
"You deserve better Rose................, you are not alone in this you have your friends and ............you have me. We will fight with you and clear your name" He said reaching eye level with her.
