Gianna wants freedom. Trapped in a gilded cage by her social class, expectations, and oppressive father, she yearns for nothing more than to experience the world for what it truly is. However, with her father's plans of an arranged marriage to keep her stuck in her class, Gianna's struggling to find the freedom she craves as the walls cave in.

Axel wants freedom. He was banished from his home by Gianna's father, working as a contractor. He wants to return back to his home to find her again, amidst the distances keeping them apart. Yet, the news of her arranged marriage throws them both for a loop as all of his work seemingly feels meaningless.

Working against the odds stacked against them, they're determined to make their worlds collide once more--even if the lengths to get there are more than they bargained for.
