It started off as any other day. I was heading to my college when all hell broke loose. Suddenly there were people screaming as a comet hurtled towards me? I tried to move but to my horror was stuck in place. The comet hit me and stopped glowing. "Ugh......my head." Nova said as she climbed out of the Crater. She looked at herself and screamed panicked. "How am I still alive?! I just got hit by a comet!!" She says as she brushes the dust and dirt off of herself. She felt something surging inside her and looked around. There seemed to be no one else around. "What is this feeling surging through me?!" She asked herself scared. She screamed when she realized that she was flying?! "WHAT THE! WHATS GOING ON?!"

So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. This story is written in first person (using I, we, us, etc.) Also, this is going to be my story for the #justwriteit challenge Also, the idea for this story was given to me by one of my best friends, @minewtlover14Lengkap

Let's be a villain! 15-years-old Marissa Everstar makes a Faustian bargain to receive superpowers, in the hope they will make her famous. But when being a superhero turns out to mainly involve boring work that does not get her the immediate popularity she craves, she shifts gears and becomes a villain. Trigger warning: contains descriptions of physical and emotional abuse, blood and gore. Excerpt from chapter 2: I carefully begin pouring the white powder onto the floor, drawing a large pentagram. I spend a lot of time on the intricate details, making sure everything is perfect. The summoning circle quite small, but it will have to do. I clap my hands twice and hear a soul-crushing scream that appears to pierce my body to its core. Hearing the sound fills my stomach with butterflies and gives me a fuzzy feeling. I haven't heard a single sound in almost a year. Following the scream, a shadowy figure emerges. He appears deep black, littered with stars, as if a human-like shape has been carved out of the universe, but also strangely transparent, as if made of glass. His long arms end in clawed fingers, and his ears and horns are goat-like in appearance. On his back are two bat-like wings. He speaks in a deep voice-the only one I've heard in a long time. "What of this thief I hear that has hidden themselves in The Lands of Luxury?" I say. Rail lowered his emerald eyes towards the horizon. "Have you thought of my proposal?" Rail asks, avoiding my question. He had asked me many times to become his protector and leave the True One. Of course, I always say no. It pained me to see the hurt in his once peaceful eyes. "You know my answer." I whisper. I lay my hand on top of his. There was always a spark that clouded my mind when I touched Rail. I pull away, dropping my eyes. "This was a wonderful gathering, Rail. Thank you, but I must return to the True One." I begin to light the room with my silverlight overpowering Rail's golden blaze, getting ready to flash. "Wait! Stay to find the thief. Please, Aderes." I'm hovering over the floor. Rail grabs my hand, and the shock brings me back to him. I lower myself and let go of him. "I will stay until the thief is found. Avengers fan fiction Captain America Fanfic My name is Astella, but all around the world I am known as Cosmic. Not too long ago I was a normal girl going to school trying to make something of myself. That was until a shooting star slammed into my house. I mean literally. It fell from the sky and onto my house. S.H.I.E.L.D covered it up. The blast killed my whole family. Apart from myself that is. You might think that's pretty damn lucky well it's not. I'd rather be dead. I have these new powers. Steve says I'll learn how to control them better. I hope he's right or I will quite literally blow up. Ticking time bomb, that's me, because the shooting star wasn't really a shooting star. We don't know what it was. Dr. Banner thinks it was a containment unit that held some sort of energy. It would sound like a lot of bullshit to me if I wasn't the one with the powers. The bad news is (well the worse news) is that whoever had this "containment unit" wants it back. Not the container itself because that went to crap when it landed, but they want the energy that is now inside me. To do that they have to extract it from my body.
