They looked deep into each others eyes and knew the spark in their flame would keep on burning.
"I love you, Matteo." she said as caressed his cheek with her boney fingers. Her eyes begin to close slowly as she took her last breath. The last warm breath smoothly touch his dampened cheeks.
"No...no... no...NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOO!" he screamed violently. He started shaking her body. He couldn't come to reality.
"This can't be happening!" he screamed again. Tears began sprouting out of his eyes. He tightly gripped her gown, and smelled her sweet scent for the last time.
He got up, with his head slowly looking to the sky in agony.
"I love you too, Rebecca." he said, as his hand reached to the sky and moaned for his beloved.

He then soon became the official owner of the Lokovich Castle. He works constantly during the day, but drinks blood at night.
