Kyera finds safety from the princess and from her master. Kyera learns to expects her life and hides her water-bending talent knowing that if they learned she would surely die or be placed in a cage. What happens when Zuko is banished and the meets the avatar. Faces she never hoped or dreamed to see again...

An Air Bender from the Western Air Temple never having the chance to find balance within. She never knew how she managed to survive all these years, hiding from the Fire Nation but she still remained a nineteen-year-old girl. Fire Lord Ozai discovered her Air Nomad origins and he imprisoned her for three years. She got to meet the royal family before it was broken. When she managed to escape she ran away to the Water Tribes. She had been there ever since, protecting the defenseless people from the ruthless Fire benders as well as her bending. A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South.
