An outcast, Gabrielle Palmer fails at trying to fit in. Not like she even wants to, anyway. Having to deal with three bullies who bully her out of jealously and their own sick amusement, she can never go a day without a little drama. Tomboy personality with a little girl side, she manages to impress her deep down crush, LaVaughn Carter.
Finally getting a chance to become friends, she discovers the personality of LaVaughn only making her fall in love even more. They even share one thing in common -- they love basketball. Being the star of the basketball team, LaVaughn falls in love with Gabi since she's not like your average girl.

*Background Information* Jayde and Ryan have had chemistry since 6th grade, you know the kind. They had 5 classes together, and serious feelings for each other the whole way through. It was a roller coaster ride like anything else. They flirted, played sports together, the whole bit. In seventh grade they weren't as close. Some say they didn't like each other that year, Ryan was actually pretty mean to Jayde that year. Then 8th grade brought them around full circle when Ryan started having feelings for Jayde again.
