"Well would you look at that?" I ask with a smile, finally realizing I was looking up at him.
"What?"
"I can't call you Little Guy anymore." I put my hands on my hips, "You're taller than me now."
"You couldn't call me Little Guy in the first place."
I shrug, "But I did."
~tt~ He rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, "You weren't supposed to."
I giggle a little and adore his features he obviously gained mostly from his father, besides his piercing green eyes. He had just revealed to me his truth and trusted me with it, and right then, I'd promise myself I'd take it to my grave and protect him like he's protected me. I had his back like he's always had mine, and I care for him like he's cared for me.
I reach up on my toes and kiss his cheek, smirking mischievously as I come back down. "Guess from now on, I'll just have to call you Boy Wonder."
"Ew! No! That was Grayson's thing!" He calls after me as I walk away with a happy skip in my step. I shrug again, "It's your thing now."
"Robbie!" He tries to catch up, so I quicken my feet, then so does he, and then we're side by side on the rooftops with the sun just peeking up over the silhouette of Gotham...just running. But to where? Who knows?

"What do you have to hide? An unrequited love perhaps?" Bruce Wayne is dead and that has took a toll on everyone. Gotham mourns the billionaire, but also knowing the the Bat has suddenly disappeared, the city is a wreck. The only protectors of the city is the family Bruce built. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book. All rights belong to DC. I do own the storyline as it is inspired by roleplays I did as my beloved Lucy Quinzel. Hope you all enjoy)

"Jesus Christ..." he muttered, swallowing hard. He reached out tentatively, his gloved fingers brushing against the infant's cheek. It was ice-cold. The baby's chest rose and fell faintly, each breath a Herculean effort. Beneath the child, the tarp was damp-not with water, but something metallic-smelling and sticky. Blood? Ramirez's stomach twisted. "Dispatch," he whispered hoarsely into his radio, forcing his voice steady. "Officer Ramirez, 9th and Mercer. I need an ambulance. I found an infant. Abandoned. Possible injury." . . "They found a baby in Gotham," Bruce finally said. "Abandoned in an alley. They ran a DNA test... and it matched you." Dick froze, the world around him suddenly quiet, as if the city itself held its breath. "What?" he said sharply, disbelief washing over him. "That's impossible."

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... "Don't you know who they are?" "No, should I?" "They're the Wayne boys, kind of odd, but so hot." ◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇ Jason and Richard (Dick) Wayne, are a couple of the two most athletic kids at Gotham academy, although they are very popular with the ladies, their social lives aren't all great. But, it's a good thing they both live double lives, with them fighting crime along side their father, the Batman himself, they take to the crime filled streets of Gotham City every night. The twins are a team, and always will be, with Jason being able to count on one hand the number of words Dick has spoken in his entire life, (him being selectively mute, and all) Dick needs Jason, and Jason needs Dick to keep him out of too much trouble and on the semi-right path. But, when Bruce forcefully encourages branching out of their comfort zone, he mentions a team of young heros that might do the troubled boys some good. ◇□DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN DC, thought that was pretty obvious□◇Complete

Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Damian has been raised as an assassin but quickly realizes he doesn't want to become a killer. Whilst on his mission, he runs away and boards any transport he can find. He soon discovers he's stranded in Gotham City with nowhere to go, unaware he's caught the eye of Gotham's most fierce protector. *note*: this fanfiction doesn't follow everything canonically.
