Jenna Shields has meticulously organized her life to the t, and so far all has gone according to plan. She is practicing counseling at the age of 25, and is a successful, independent woman, who plans on becoming a mother soon through artificial insemination. However, her plans are turned on their head when out with her twin sister one night, she meets Nolan Crawford, a vampire posing as a bartender at a local small town bar. After a one night stand, her plans of inseminating are interrupted when she discovers she is pregnant. Upon delivering the news to her one time lover, Jenna is thrust into a chaotic world of the supernatural, and must decide what to do about her unexpected special bundle of joy. Along with that comes the dangerous knowledge of her own status, and why she and her and her baby will be wanted, dead or alive.
