Hope's Peak Academy, a school that scouts students from across the country in search of talent. The ones accepted into the school are known as Ultimates. The Ultimate Yakuza, the Ultimate Mechanic, the Ultimate Princess; anything goes. 17 High School students were picked in the next batch to attend the school. They all believed they'd graduate and leave with their futures set up for them. But things don't quite go as planned. All of them are now trapped on an island with no easy escape, forced into a killing game by a psychotic teddy bear. The only way to win is through betrayal. This weighs heavily on everyone. But throughout the chaos, there is a flicker of hope for two participants. Y/N L/N and Mikan Tsumuiki. The Ultimate Mortician and the Ultimate Nurse. The 53rd class of Hopes Peak Academy find themselves is quite the situation, when the 77th class blows up part of the building. The world's biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history started that day, due to that specific class. Well, that's what everyone thought at first. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know. If that's what people want, I wouldn't be against it or anything. I'm just, really bad at romance lmao. And also this'll be prey family friendly, with just some swearing.
