I heard Jordan groan in frustration before he finally made his way over to me, crouching low so we were face to face. That infuriating, signature smirk curled on his lips-the one he always wore when he thought he had the upper hand. Slowly, deliberately, he leaned in. His face tilted toward mine, his breath brushing against my skin as his mouth hovered just inches away. My breath caught. My heart pounded. And then, without thinking, my fist connected with his face. He stumbled backward, crashing into the edge of the table with a grunt of surprise. ~ Casey Valentine never asked to be in the spotlight. She's just a girl trying to survive her senior year-quiet, clever, a little awkward, and perfectly content staying under the radar. She had a plan: keep her head down, get her grades up, and escape to the future she'd carefully dreamed of. But fate has other ideas. When dangerous secrets start to unravel around her, Casey finds herself tangled in a web of lies, loyalty, and love. Multiple people are after her-and not all of them want to hurt her. Some want to protect her. Some want to claim her. And some... might just want her heart. As tensions rise and the lines between ally and enemy begin to blur, Casey is pulled into a violent, hidden war that she wants no part of. But the real danger doesn't come from guns or grudges-it comes from falling for the very people she's not sure she can trust. ~ Before I Go is a story about love that defies reason and friendship that withstands fire. It's about a girl whose destiny could destroy her-but also save everyone around her. She doesn't know how important she is. Not yet. But she's the key to someone's salvation... And someone's heartbreak. Because not every story ends in happily ever after. Some begin just moments before goodbye.

"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. But what happens when a new girl in town becomes one of his victims? Will she allow him to walk upon her like all the other girls do?

"Dad, there are a few things that a teenage girl is supposed to hide from her parents. It's a rule. Read the rule book." I told him seriously. "Okay... So, does this friend of yours have a name?" He asked. "Daddy!" I exclaimed. "A father is supposed to know the name and addresses of all the boys his daughter ever thinks about. It's a rule. Read the rule book, missy!" He shot back. "But you're not supposed to know about the older, bad boys your daughter thinks about." I smirked at him, crossing my arms. I mean, he is older than me... Well played, Liv! "It's Hunter Kingston, isn't it?" Dad asked with a deadpan look. My smirk dropped much like my hands that dropped down like noodles by my side. "Yes." I answered sheepishly.
