This is the true story of a twelve year old boy I knew who had cancer. This poem shares his story with the world and tells how he turned cancer into something beautiful. While he was fighting his own war, he brought others joy. His journey was quite remarkable and he will always remain forever in our hearts. Read to find out how he used his cancer to help others.

All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again.
