This is the story of Kelsey Morgan, a teenage girl with depression, anxiety, anorexia, PTSD, very low self-esteem, a very high IQ, and a never-ending love for the kpop group, BTS. She's had a pretty fucked up life, and it's turned the once innocent girl into a cute, short, and surprisingly strong and fucked up hybrid. She still has a touch of innocence surprisingly, and she just wants the best for everyone. Well, excluding herself. She's been through so much trauma in her 14- nearly 15- years of life. But, what happens when she finally runs away from her imprisonment, and runs into an old friend at a convenience store, and he offers her a free ticket to South Korea? He offers her free BTS merchandise if she takes his offer, because it's a free non-refundable ticket, and his friend, that was originally supposed to go with him, bailed on him at the last minute. What will happen after this unexpected turn in events? Will every guy she meets in South Korea fall head-over-heels for her? Will she finally feel accepted?
