He told me that he was a school going boy. His parents didn't knew about him secretly working here for us. His father was a drunkard and was unemployed. Every night he came drunk and hit his wife. Devdutta's mother worked as a maid and barely earned Rs200. He had a younger brother whose legs were crippled and they didn't had enough money to get him admitted to a school. He also had an elder sister who became a victim to child molestation. His mother is saving money so that she can hire a lawyer and win justice. That's why he is working, so that his siblings could have a brighter future.
