I don't know if this is actually cannon (probably not) because I can't find it on Tumblr due to it being stupid recently and thegreatrouge deleting it. Anyway, this is my take on how Suave became a royal servant to the vampire family. Prepare for cuteness and sadness.

Augustus is formally known as Augostino Vercelis, royal throne holder of the undead. Although he is indeed a murderous vampire, he hadn't enjoyed the bloodied kill of his thirst in over 200 years. His curse had him bound to good nature. At least until he finds the mystery creature that holds the ultimate gift of soul-mated love. If he can have her, he is free to lead the life he pleases, with zero constraints. And he is determined to make Tallulah his when he feels her blade deep in his heart.
