Perhaps the most impacted Avenger was Peter. At only 17, he had lived and died the life of a hero, then lived again. Tony had only stared as Peter coughed and choked on the dust, blood dripping down his face from his right eyebrow, before pushing his way through the mass of Avengers on Titan.

Access to light, clean bedding, or a warm meal was considered a privilege within the structures of Hydra. A glimpse of these comforts could only be granted to a soldier who followed orders. Peter was not one of them. With his thin limbs, the malnourished twelve-year-old was on the brink of death from exhaustion and starvation. It seemed that his days were numbered, and he himself longed for death. At least, that's what he believed-until a threat from the outside emerged, the one his superiors had warned him about: the Avengers. Yet for some unclear reason, this group wanted to save him. Especially Tony Stark, the Merchant of Death, saw something in him that Peter himself could not see. For reasons unknown to Peter, Stark wanted to take care of him and show him that the world still had much to offer.
