Layla Winchester, one of the best hunters in the world after training from a very young age, as well as being Sam and Dean Winchester's sixteen year old sister. Anyhow, after a few months of having Sam back on hunts with them, she had become more fun and carefree according to Dean. One day they get a call about a haunted house in Mystic Falls, Virgina. Layla found the name to be almost like a fairytale, but the town itself was nothing like a fairytale. While in Mystic Falls, Layla meets Elena and they instantly become friends.
