Summary:
The Mers and their murderous cousins, the Siren, have always been at odds but recently something, or someone, has begun to rally the normally solitary predators under a single banner and the climate of relative peace on the reef where Harry was born and raised has descended into the tense anticipation of war. But juveniles will be juveniles regardless of what battles might be brewing, and unfortunately for Harry-at least according to Luna-there's a Siren in his future.
Of course, what this predator in particular wants from him isn't food.

When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
