He was freaking out. He couldn't think clearly. His mind was spinning out of control.
"Wally!" A voice. Someone was calling out to him. But he couldn't place it. It just echoed around in his head.

Dick is in a dark place. Wally pulls him out of it.

Dick Grayson always questioned his decision, and hoped he could get his best friend to understand the why behind it. He didn't like what had to happen, but it was the split second decision, than ended up saving his best friend's life. He wished sometimes he could turn back the clock, and prevent it all...but he couldn't. Now, even his best friend couldn't. And it was all his fault. His own best friend, the person he secretly was in love with, couldn't run, because he was now a paraplegic. (This is somewhat based off of Grey's Anatomy's Arizona Robbins losing her leg, and the decision that Callie made to save the love of her life) The art is mine, and it will be rated mature, because it is Birdflash and deals with some hard issues. And someone as young and vulnerable as Dick was perfect for the taking. So, that's what Slade Wilson did. He took the small, impressionable boy as his own. Act 1 Dick Grayson has not had an easy life. It all started when his parents died then Bruce Wayne adopted him. After finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman he became Robin to get revenge on the people who killed his parents and to help stop crime. Life was good for a while. He helped Batman fight crime and soon created his own team with his best friends Wally and Kladur. One night the team was deployed on a mission to rescue a few hostages. Everything was going as planned until the team bumped into some unexpected company. Deathstroke and Bane managed to take down the entire team and kidnap Robin before the team could call for backup. 5 years later Dick comes back with a new friend and is bloodthirsty. He wants revenge against his old mentor who let both Jason and him down. Will Bruce and Dick's friends be able to save him or will they have to take down him down for good. (Editing)Concluida
