"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard. She rose then and went very close to him, so close that he could feel her breath on his chest, he could see the tiny beads of sweat on her from her workout, she looked up at him, her eyes illuminated by the sun, and showed specks of green mingled with brown, he noticed as she took a deep breath. "You smell like a forest after the rain, woody like amber dry cedar, a bit spicy like cinnamon and ginger, but also comforting and refreshing like petrichor and citrus, it's a beautiful scent." There was something erotic about having her here, so close, having her tell him how good his scent was, have her breathe him in, and look at him the way that she was at that moment. Something in him stirred, and almost of its own accord, his hand lifted to cup her face, as his palm touched the skin of her cheek, her breath caught, and her lips parted.
