"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. 'The freak of the school' what a dumb name. I never personally thought he was a freak. To me, he was one of the kindest people that went to our school. I had a lot of problems growing up. During the last year of middle school, I moved away to a different high school. A lot of people didn't even recognise me when I returned to the Hawkins High school. Something about me made Eddie focus his attention on me, but it wasn't until later on he realised I was the same girl that was his date to the middle school snowball dance. Navigating life isn't as easy as you'd hope but your friends and the so called 'freak' you've fallen for help. Trigger warnings for abuse/child abuse. Drug & alcohol use. Strong language. Sex/sexual acts. Self-harm/talk of suicide. Assault. There are not warnings at the beginnings of chapters. Some themes are rather dark and may be triggering - hence the warnings here. POV story, Y/N format. Slow burn, kinda. Heavy relationship focus leading up to the events in season 4.
